Private Yoga

Psychotherapy has historically been an exercise of the mind, but in the offices of more and more modern-day mental health providers, emotional healing is taking place not just on the couch but on the yoga mat.
For this reason, I offer private yoga instruction for individuals and couples, as well as multi-level group and corporate yoga classes. With a specialized interest in yoga to relieve chronic stress and its effects on the body, my specialties include working with women and their relationship to SELF.
My approach to yoga is gentle and heart centered, concentrating on using the breath to cultivate mindfulness. I help to guide, support and empower my students to build strength, balance, and flexibility from the inside out. My aim is to meet each client’s individual needs and respect their unique way of being in the world.
My wellness services include yoga for all levels- no experience is needed. With a special interest in yoga for women, my private sessions combine correct alignment with simple movement and a focus on the breath in a safe, non-competitive environment. I use the traditional practices of Hatha Yoga to help each client develop both a physical and spiritual awareness.
